8th Grade or College?

Téa is so independent and comfortable here – she hops on the tram and travels back and forth to school by herself. She basically acts like she is a college student on her junior year abroad. When there is a long break between classes, she and her friend Lexi go to Confluence, a mall nearby, to get their Starbucks chai lattes. It will be hard readjusting to high school in Amherst where even seniors can’t leave the building until the end of the day. Oh, and if a teacher is absent? The kids leave early. Think of all the money we could save in the school budget if we didn’t have to hire substitute teachers!
